Farmhouse Fraternity Chapter President Bradly Smith was named the “Chapter President of the Year” by the international fraternity for 2025.

“To me, this award is a huge honor because it represents the culmination of all of the people who have helped pour into me and grow me into the man and leader I am today, as well as the amazing executive board I have had the honor of leading this past year,” he said.

TROY’s chapter is one of 34 international chapters of the organization, and the award is given to one president for exceptional leadership, service and performance in leading his chapter throughout the year. Smith also serves as a member of the Sorrell Dean’s Student Advisory Council and a Trojan Ambassador.

“This award is a great resume booster, but I believe my time in FarmHouse has been much more significant in my journey than any award could be. FarmHouse has provided me with a platform to fail for four years and to learn from my mistakes with supportive friends by my side. Because of all of these learning opportunities, I have really been able to hone my skills as a leader and as a friend,” Smith said. “While I still have a lot to work on as a person, I believe these skills and life lessons have tremendously prepared me to take on this next chapter as I graduate and go into the workforce.”

Currently working an internship with Dent Moses, LLP, Smith is gaining real-world experience with tax and audit work. When he graduates in May, Smith said he plans to pursue TROY’s Master of Accountancy and sit for his CPA exam. Ultimately, he hopes to become a chief financial officer.

“I would be lying if I said this was a one-person award. The guys in our chapter and on the executive board really made this achievement possible through all their effort and dedication towards the betterment of our chapter. I am immensely grateful for the FarmHouse men I have been surrounded by throughout my time at Troy and for their consistent encouragement to push me and to build me into a better man and leader,” he said.
