A group of Troy University Dothan Campus students and faculty members are collecting items to help victims of the Louisiana floods.

The Citizenship to Address Global Challenges class is organizing the drive, which takes place Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Dothan Campus quad.

Some of the items the students hope to collect include toilet supplies, infant supplies, pet supplies, cleaning supplies, gift cards, flashlights and batteries.

The relief drive is in conjunction with nursing professor Sabrina Kelley and other organizations in the Dothan area, according to Amy Farver, Department Head of the Center for Student Success at the Dothan Campus.

Boxes are also set up around campus and in Malone 120. For more information, contact Farver at afarver@troy.edu.
