Troy University and the Entrepreneurship Council will celebrate Women’s History Month by hosting a Women in Entrepreneurship panel discussion featuring Wiregrass business leaders on March 20.
The event takes place at 6 p.m. in Sony Hall at TROY’s Dothan Campus and features four local entrepreneurs: Kelsey Barnard Clark of KBC Eatery, Catering, and Bakery; Precious Freeman of BFC Management; Nassandra Corbitt of Hairoglyphics Hair & Beauty Salon; and Rachael Conrad of Two Egg TV.
The panelists will share their experiences and the sources of inspiration that have led to their success.
“Men and women, come join us, explore entrepreneurship and be inspired,” said Mackroyce Corbitt Jr., chair of the Entrepreneurship Council. “It is a rare opportunity to witness the tenacity and boldness of such impressively creative people.”
The event is free and open to the public, and audience members will be allowed to ask questions of the panelists.
The Entrepreneurship Council is a grass-roots education and advocacy group for entrepreneurs, working in creative partnership with the Sorrell College of Business at Troy University’s Dothan Campus.
