JCPenney is giving Troy University students a chance to dress for success.
This Sunday, March 31, the JCPenney store at Wiregrass Commons Mall in Dothan will be opened exclusively to TROY students from 5 to 8 p.m., and students will receive 40 percent off of already discounted professional attire as part of the Suit-Up event.
“Most students, regardless of financial need, have not started their professional wardrobe in college, so we want to offer this opportunity for them to be outfitted for internships and job interviews,” said TROY Career Coordinator Lauren Cole.
The University is even providing transportation for Troy Campus students in need, sending a bus down for Suit Up.
Any students who want to participate must register through Handshake here.
Through the registration, students can also request a seat on the bus.
Cole said the event will also help prepare students for the upcoming All Majors Career Fair on April 3 at the Troy Campus.
“That’s a great opportunity for students to network and talk with employers,” Cole said.
