Rosa Parks Museum to present ‘Coffee with a Cop’ on Wednesday

The Rosa Parks Museum will host

The Rosa Parks Museum will host "Coffee with a Cop" from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Troy University’s Rosa Parks Museum will present an opportunity for the public to meet and have conversations with representatives of the Montgomery Police Department, beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

“Coffee with a Cop” enables local residents to enjoy free coffee and engage with members of the Montgomery Police Department to establish relationships and discuss issues related to law enforcement in the City of Montgomery.

“The Rosa Parks Museum is pleased to host ‘Coffee with a Cop’ in partnership with the Montgomery Police Department,” said Dr. Felicia Bell, director of the museum. “Museums are safe spaces for civic-minded dialogue and community engagement. We want citizens to feel welcome to address their concerns with the local police who serve and protect them.”
