Smith joins TROY staff as Communications Coordinator

Troy University has announced the appointment of Gracie Smith as the new Communications Coordinator for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences within the Office of University Relations.

A native of Dothan, Alabama, Smith earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Troy University in May 2025. While at TROY, she was actively involved in campus life, including Alpha Gamma Delta, Women in Business, and the Student Alumni Association. Professionally, Smith has gained experience as the Coordinator of Campus Experiences within the Office of Admissions at Troy University, where she developed skills in strategic communication, project management, and event planning and execution.

In her role as Communications Coordinator, Smith will focus on raising the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences’ visibility, strengthening connections with students, alumni, faculty, and the community, and highlighting the inspiring work and programs of the college. Her background in marketing and hands-on experience with student engagement positions her to make a meaningful impact on the college’s communication strategies.
