Best Value Schools has named Troy University’s Ph.D. in Sport Management as one of the top 10 programs of its kind in the country.

The rankings from the Provo, UT-based organization were generated on a formula based on the per-credit tuition rates and graduate enrollment rates for each school. After sorting by both, points were assigned to each school which were added for a final ranking score.

“The School of HSTM is honored and excited about being ranked in the Top 10 for Best Ph.D. in Sport Management programs. This is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Sport Management faculty,” said Dr. Anthony Dixon, professor and director of the School of Hospitality, Sport and Tourism Management in the Sorrell College of Business.
