Fall Trojan Day gives high school seniors a chance to learn more about the opportunities at TROY.

Troy University’s biggest preview day of the year is Saturday, Sept. 28, with plenty of room for prospective students to be on campus to catch the Trojan Warrior Spirit.

Fall Trojan Day coincides with a full slate of campus activities, including TROY’s football game vs. Arkansas State, to showcase academics, student life and extracurricular activities for prospective students and their families. Trojan Day is free, and it’s not too late to register online at www.troy.edu/applications-admissions/trojan-day.html

“Campus visits play a crucial role in the college decision process,” said Tiffani Stephens Schmidt, Director of Enrollment Services. “During Trojan Day, visiting students will have the opportunity to speak with faculty members in their academic area of interest, speak with student leaders, enjoy a campus tour and cheer on the Trojans at the football game. Our goal is for prospective students to leave with a sense of excitement and pride about their future as a TROY Trojan.”

An in-depth presentation on Admissions, Scholarships and Housing anchors the day’s agenda. Trojan Ambassadors will lead prospective students on a campus tour complete with a look at residence halls, academic facilities and student life areas.

And the day culminates with a free student ticket and three family tickets for the 5 p.m. Sun Belt Conference game against Arkansas State at Veterans Memorial Stadium. It’s Military Appreciation Day at the game, one of the special ways Troy University shows its appreciation to America’s servicemen and women.

The day’s schedule also includes an emphasis on Troy’s unique dual enrollment program, ACCELERATE. “The ACCELERATE motto is ‘Start now, finish early,’ and what better way to start than with Dual Day?” said Korrie Lynn James, ACCELERATE Coordinator. “Dual Day ties into Trojan Day so guests can experience both events at once. If you’re a 9th-through-12th grade student and are interested in dual enrollment at TROY, we encourage you to attend Dual Day and learn more about our program.”
