Troy University’s Office of Admissions has launched the Refer A Future Trojan (RAFT) program.
The program enables friends and alumni of TROY to make a referral for someone that would make a great addition to the Trojan Family.
“We hope this program makes it as easy as possible for TROY faculty, staff, current students, alums, and friends in the community to submit potential student information to the Admissions Office,” said Blake Bedsole, Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management. “We don’t want to miss out on building relationships with any individual that would be a good fit with us.”
Bedsole also says that the program gives the Office of Admissions the opportunity to offer information to potential students and their families early in the decision-making process, allowing them more time to learn about TROY.
So far, the Office of Admissions has received almost 30 referral submissions from various TROY faculty, staff members, and friends.
“The referrals range from mostly high school students to a few elementary-aged students and those interested in Ph.D. programs,” said Bedsole. “We’re excited to see the early progress and look forward to hearing more from the TROY community!”
