MathFest sparks new interests, creativity among participants

TROY's Department of Mathematics hosted MathFest on the Troy Campus April 13-14.

MathFest, held in John Robert Lewis Hall over the weekend, included various presentations exploring the applications of mathematics, competitions and a browse session.

The event, held on Friday evening and most of Saturday, was targeted towards undergraduate students, according to Ken Roblee, chair of the math department.

The 16th annual conference will include a poster presentation session for students, graduate school information sessions and a Calculus competition.

The 16th annual conference will include a poster presentation session for students, graduate school information sessions and a Calculus competition.

Troy University’s Department of Mathematics will present the 16th annual TROY MathFest, a free conference that enables undergraduate students to share their research, on April 14-15 at the Troy Campus with a component that will also be offered virtually.
