The Wiregrass Archives at the Troy University Dothan Campus has received of one of just eight nationwide awards presented by the Society of American Archivists Foundation (SAAF).

The $5,000 Catalyst Grant, previously named the SAA Foundation Strategic Growth Grant, is helping to support a Wiregrass Archives project titled “Capturing Black History in the Wiregrass.”

A $150,000 grant to the Troy University Police Department will result in safer surroundings on the Troy Campus.

Thanks to a grant from the Hank Poore Foundation, a new wheelchair is available free of use at the TROY arboretum.

Troy University arboretum’s more than 10 miles of walking trails are now fully accessible to the public, thanks to the donation of an all-terrain wheelchair courtesy of the Hank Poore Foundation.
