Recent TROY graduate reflects on journey to Air Force

Passion, work ethic and commitment paid off for the men and women recently commissioned into the Armed Forces at Troy University.

Those attributes, along with a strong sense of honor bred by her family roots, led recent TROY graduate Christalyn Springs through her college journey and, now, a career in the Air Force.

TROY Alumnus Army Capt. Stephen Scott (2012), a Prattville native, was all smiles as he walked across a Pentagon stage last week to receive a bust of the great Gen. Douglas MacArthur. He even hammed it up a bit with the Director of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Walter E. Piatt, who presented it to him.

Michelle Berry, departmental secretary for Aerospace Studies at Troy University, has won the University’s Vergil Parks McKinley Award.
