Dothan Campus to host lecture on legendary Tuskegee photographer

Tuskegee University archivist and associate professor of history Dana Chandler is bringing a unique lecture about famous Alabama photographer P.H. Polk to Troy University’s Dothan Campus on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Tuskegee Airmen honored with marker at Troy airport

Troy University joined the City of Troy on Wednesday to honor the Tuskegee Airmen by unveiling a historical marker at the Tuskegee Army Air Field Hangar located at Troy Municipal Airport.

The Tuskegee Airmen, the nation’s first black military pilots, used the hangar, which originally located at Tuskegee Army Air Field.
