Troy University alumna Stefanie East is teaching the next generation of broadcasters in the very school where she got her start.
After two decades of working in the broadcasting field for WTVY news in Dothan and Alabama News Network in Montgomery, East returned to the Hall School of Journalism and Communication as a lecturer to pass on her years of experience to Troy University students in the classroom.
“After spending twenty years in the news business, I was so excited to be able to come back to Troy and to teach our next generation of journalists,” East says. “TROY is what gave me my start in journalism. It is definitely what led me to become a reporter and a news anchor.”
