Troy University’s Montgomery campus is working on a way to centralize student support and was recently helped in their efforts with a grant from the federal government.
The nearly $2 million grant will help to build a Center for Student Success that will bring together tutoring, academic and career counseling, mental health counseling and student work space into a single location.
“What we hope to gain is a centralized inviting space for students to come and receive whatever services they need to support their academic endeavors,” says project director Dr. Sharon Everhardt.
