Valentine’s Day is celebrated differently around the world and TROY’s International Students Cultural Organization spread knowledge and love about the international celebrations of the holiday.
ISCO members gave presentations on the various Valentine’s traditions around the world during their meeting in the week leading up to the holiday.
In addition one student showed her fellow students how to make origami roses to give as a gift to their someone special on Valentine’s Day.
“Today was just one of those cultural exchange events,” says ISCO President Jackson Kiger. “Basically the whole point of today was to show some of the things we do in America and learn about some of the things that they do around the world. As well as doing a little craft to take home to give to your loved one.”
