The past year has not made it easy to meet someone new in an in-person setting, so the University Activities Council gave students a quick way to maybe meet someone special in time for Valentine’s Day.

The UAC put on a “Six Minute, Six Feet” speed dating event leading up to Valentine’s Day as a way for students to meet and stay COVID-safe.

Six foot tables were set up and students sat on either end while wearing masks while going through the normal rotations of a speed dating event.

The students would move from table to table after their six minutes were up and meet a new potential date for Valentine’s.
