Thursday was the first day Troy University began giving a second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on campus.
Some people drove from other cities to get fully vaccinated, and are ready to celebrate with family. People like Andy and Belinda Hepburn who drove from Montgomery to get the vaccine at the TROY clinic.
The Hepburns wanted to feel safer going into the Easter weekend.
“That means I am going to church,” says Belinda Hepburn. “I am still going to wear my mask but I am going to be comfortable doing that, I feel like people won’t back away when we come and maybe we can start having more gatherings and things we can go and enjoy.”
