Playing with your food is considered bad table manners but for Pi Kappa Phi fraternity it means raising money for a good cause.
The brothers were taking pies to the face to raise money for the fraternity’s philanthropy project the Ability Experience.
“Our philanthropy is called the ability experience it helps people across our nation with disabilities,” says Pi Kapp brother Jack Smyth. “One of the cool things about it is that it’s all owned by Pi Kappa Phi it’s not owned by third parties owned completely by us so we have complete control over it and complete control over the direction and everything that’s going on within it.”
The Pie a Pi Kapp event was one of many the fraternity had going on during its philanthropy week including a seven day Bikeathon.
