Troy University will hold a virtual career fair this week as way to connect students to potential employers in a time of COVID-19.
Career Fairs are usually big events with students meeting face to face with a roomful of potential employers but that doesn’t work with COVID protocols in place.
The virtual fair can give students like Jake Simonetti, who is concerned about the job market in the world of COVID-19, a chance to end his search for a job.
“I am just trying to figure out the door that’s supposed to be open for me and actually find that right job,” says Simonetti. “It’s been really kind of difficult trying to actually apply for things as well.”
TROY’s virtual career fair will give students like Simonetti the chance to connect directly with employers looking to hire students after graduation.
The career fair will be Wednesday, April 7th from 1:00-4:00pm.
Students will need to preregister by visiting troy.joinhandshake.com
