When you think about a library you probably imagine hundreds of books but what about books that are hundreds of years old, that is exactly what the Troy University Library is offering to visitors.
The Troy University Library is currently featuring the Remnant Trust exhibit which gives colleges around the country the opportunity to house pieces of history on their campus.
“This is the second time we’ve hosted the Remnant Trust,” says Dean of Library Services Dr. Chris Shaffer. “It’s a group out of Texas Tech that collects first editions and antique books with the sole purpose of trying to put them in the hands of students and faculty around the country. In 2019 we were able to bring it here for the first time and it was just enormously popular with students and faculty and members of the community.”
