TROY Athletics holds American Football 101 for international students.

The term “football” has different meanings around the world, however, TROY Athletics spent an evening defining what American Football is to international students enrolled at Troy University.

Athletics held an American Football 101 event for some Troy University’s diverse international student body.

The students got the chance to learn the rules of the game, meet head coach Chip Lindsey and tour Veterans Memorial Stadium.

“We’re just kind of covering the basics for the international students on our campus,” says Director of Football Operations Matt Hassan. “There’s a wide variety of countries represented on our campus and we would like to invite all of them to football games so to explain the game and help them understand what’s going on while they’re here with us on Saturdays will help us win and make this place rock.”
