Residents had the chance to take a stroll down memory lane with a little automotive history in Downtown Troy.

Classic cars are a valued commodity in today’s world and collectors like to show off their hard work and dedication to their prized vintage rides.

This is why car shows and cruise-ins are a popular weekend activity one that the city of Troy has taken part in for five years.

The cars may be old but the cruise-in is an event that can be enjoyed by people of all ages

“They are fun for the entire family,” says Leigh Anne Windham. “And when the kids are here the automobile owners will talk to them about their vehicle and what all they did to restore it and how much it costs to restore it. So yeah it’s a great event for every age.”
