TROY TrojanVision News for October 18, 2023

TROY TrojanVision News is Troy University’s student-run television news operation. TROY TrojanVision News student reporters cover events and happenings around Troy University, the City of Troy and Pike County. The news team is made up of Troy University students and is open to any student currently enrolled at the University.

TROY’s award winning student produced news program, TROY TrojanVision News airs live weeknights at 5:00 with rebroadcasts at 6:30 and 10:30 (CT) while school is in session. TROY TrojanVision News is also streamed live.
Over the weekend, TROY students learned that the Sunbelt Conference championship will be hosted right here at home, and for the second year in a row. Emmaleigh Clegg has student's reactions to the news.
Before students went home for Fall break, some experienced the world without ever leaving TROY's campus. Amiyah McClease explains:
International Insights explores the world of global politics and diplomacy. Featuring discussions with distinguished leaders from around the world. These guests offer unique insights into the complex dynamics of international relations.

Hosted by Troy University Political Science professors G. Doug Davis Ph.D. and Michael Slobodchikoff Ph.D., International Insights offers a platform for intellectual discourse to broaden horizons and deepen appreciation for the complexities of global diplomacy.

This episode's guest is Major General Odd-Harald Hagen, a former ambassador from Norway and a leading expert on international relations and diplomacy. He has served in various military and diplomatic roles and deeply understands the challenges and opportunities facing Norway in the world today. In this episode, he will discuss Norway's place in the NATO alliance, its relationship with Russia, and its role in the Arctic region.
