Fraternities and sororities stroll together during Greek Week 2023

TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Members of TROY’s sororities and fraternities strolled together during Greek Week 2023.

“It was really interesting and fun watching all the different sororities and fraternities do the strolls,” said Delta Sigma Theta Member Symone Jackson.

“We’ve been working hard this whole week,” said Kappa Alpha Psi President Tairrque Baker. “We’ve seen it all coming together tonight. It was a lot of fun, not only practicing for the stroll, but also have an opportunity to get a chance to know them, know some of the things that they’re involved in and what they do.”

Members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) said they enjoyed being partnered with Interfraternity Council (IFC) organizations.

“We got the opportunity to meet a lot of new people,” Jackson told TrojanVision. “The sorority girls in particular, Alpha Gamma Delta, they were very friendly. We loved every second with them. I definitely feel like we should do it again it should be something done every year it was really fun.”

“I’m definitely excited for the future of Troy University,” Baker said. “I think this is something that we should continue to do because it gives us all the opportunity to get to know other Greeks and organizations on campus. We all have one common goal at the end of the day and that’s the give back.”
