TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — The Coleman kids of Omega Psi Phi and Delta Sigma Thesta hosted “Pie a Coleman” during their Coleman Week.
“This week is Coleman Love Week,” said Delta Sigma Theta President Donna Brewton. “Just uplift the campus, do some activities and community service for the community and today we’re doing a fundraiser. It’s called Pie a Coleman where you get to pie your favorite Delta or Que.”
Members of Omega Psi Phi and Delta Sigma Theta encouraged students, regardless of ethnicity, to enjoy their events.
“We really want to try to be more diverse and not just lean more towards NPHC, which is more African-American community,” said Omega Psi Phi Vice President Davede Herron “Reach out to other other ethnicities. It’s real important.”
“We love to extend our hands to other organizations, all student bodies,” Brewton explained. “It’s very important to be able to bring the campus together to do something fun and safe.”
Members encourage everyone to come out and support their events for the rest of the week and semester.
