CHECK IT OUT: Tuesday marked the final day of flags being lowered to half-staff for music legend Dolly Parton, but people around Troy are still remembering the country legend. Jimmy Nichols has the story.
If you've been to the Troy Public Library anytime recently you may have noticed what looks like a shrine to Dolly Parton next to the checkout desk. But, it's more than a display to pay respects, it's a showcase of one of Dolly Parton's most successful philanthropic endeavors, her Imagination Library. Until the age of five years old, the Imagination Library will provide children with one free book a month, delivered straight to their home. The program has existed since 1995. An over 30 year reminder of Dolly's impact on children and their development.
SPORTS NEWS: TROY Baseball welcomed a new recruiting coordinator to the program. Jimmy Nichols reports.
