A new scholarship will honor the memory of TROY alumna Tabatha Martineau by helping eligible students with disabilities.

The Martineau Memorial Scholarship was established by Georgia-based Tree of Life, Inc., where Martineau volunteered as Chief Financial Officer. She held an undergraduate degree in management and a Master of Accounting from the Sorrell College of Business.

The fund was established by Tree of Life founder Jennifer Hughley Grier, a fellow TROY alumna.

“She served with passion and enjoyed every moment of giving her time, expertise, and knowledge to the mission of serving others in need. She leaves behind a legacy of helping others achieve success,” Hughley said.

Tree of Life is a 501c3 faith-based non-profit established in 2014 to connect individuals with disabilities to vocational services and to help economically disadvantaged individuals by connecting them to the proper tools and resources.
