Troy University has joined forces with TripShot to manage its fixed-route and on-demand transportation services on the Troy Campus.

TripShot is an on-demand cloud-based software solution that will help TROY students travel the Troy community more efficiently while helping the University better manage its transportation resources.

The Troy University Transportation Shuttle app went live on Feb. 6.

“We are excited to partner with TripShot to provide our student riders with a safe and reliable campus transportation experience,” said Dean of Students Herbert Reeves. “We love the collaboration we get with TripShot and students will enjoy the greater ease of managing their transportation needs.”

The transportation management solution offers a range of benefits such as real-time tracking of vehicles, improved route planning and enhanced safety measures. The solution also provides a seamless and user-friendly experience for both riders and dispatch teams.

To access the app, students should download the TripShot app from the App Store, select “Troy” as the service name and login with their TROY SSO. From there the app is intuitive and straightforward, Reeves said.
