Alicia Bookout has been named Interim Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Affairs at Troy University.

A veteran TROY administrator, Bookout has served in a variety of leadership roles over more than two decades at the University. Most recently, she served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Aid, where she oversaw student financial assistance programs and helped support student success initiatives across the institution.

“We are fortunate to have Alicia step into this important leadership role overseeing our development and alumni engagement efforts,” said Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Chancellor. “Her extensive experience, commitment to TROY and ability to build strong relationships will be invaluable as we continue strengthening our alumni network and advancing the University’s fundraising goals.”

Prior to joining TROY, Bookout held fundraising roles at Christopher Newport University, Florida State University and the University of Florida, where she secured one endowment of over $7 million in support of the School of Nursing.

“TROY’s alumni, donors and friends are among the University’s greatest strengths,” Bookout said. “I am thrilled to lead such an accomplished Development and Alumni Affairs team and to continue building on the outstanding work they have already done. I look forward to engaging with alumni across our Trojan family, strengthening those relationships and helping create new opportunities that will benefit TROY students for generations to come.”
