Jeff Coleman, a Troy University alumnus and local business leader, will deliver the keynote address at fall commencement exercises Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Dothan Civic Center.
About 150 students will receive their degrees during the fall commencement, which begins at 3 p.m.
Coleman, who received an MBA from TROY’s Dothan Campus, is chairman of Coleman World Group, a family owned moving, storage, relocation and transportation business that was established in 1914. The company operates 70 offices in 23 states with more than 500 agents throughout the world.
In 2003, he was named Alumni of the Year for Troy University Dothan, and he earned the Champion of Life Award at the 2016 Dollar General Bowl.
In September, TROY officially opened the Coleman Center for Early Learning and Family Enrichment, an early learning center that provides care and education to children from 6 months to 4 years old.
Coleman is a candidate for U.S. Congress, representing Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District.
He and his wife, Tiffany, live in Dothan, and they three daughters and a son-in-law.
