Troy University Alumnus Rachel Joe Arnold has joined the Office of Development as Director of Development for the College of Communication and Fine Arts and the International Arts Center.
Arnold is a two-time TROY graduate with a 2019 bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a 2021 master’s degree in strategic communication. She previously worked as an administrative assistant in the Office of the Chancellor and also serves as an adjunct instructor in the Hall School of Journalism.
“I’m thrilled about this opportunity to continue my career at TROY with the Office of Development,” Arnold said. “I am honored to be put in a position where I have the tools to better students and work with individuals who share an appreciation for the arts.”
As a student at TROY, Arnold was an active member of the Sound of the South marching band and currently serves on the band alumni association board. In her new role, she will be working closely with CCFA leadership to identify the needs of the college and partner with donors and alumni who have a passion for the arts, the students, and Troy University.
“We are thrilled to have Rachel joining our CCFA team,” said Dr. Michael Thrasher, CCFA Dean. “As a two-time alumna of the College, Rachel has a thorough knowledge of our schools, departments, and programs. She is enthusiastic about the role of the arts and humanities at TROY, and she will be a fantastic ambassador as we strengthen our relationships with our valued alumni and friends.”
