The Small Business Development Center at Troy University will host the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Thursday, June 6, in their offices on The Square in downtown Troy.

Nestled in Troy University’s “IDEA Bank,” the SBDC is located in the former Regions Bank building on the corner of Three Notch and Court streets. The meeting, which focuses on being a vendor for the Corps, is free and open to small business owners, is limited and pre-registration is required.

Linda Spadaro, a small business specialist with the Corps in the Mobile District, will discuss what the agency buys and how small businesses can qualify to become a vendor.

“This program should especially be of interest to construction companies and engineering firms,” said Brenda Marcum, a small business development consultant with the Center.
