Students and alumni will gain access to employers with the All Majors Career Fair on the Troy Campus Oct. 9.
This semester the University is focusing its efforts on making the event the centerpiece for all departments and colleges during the fall semester, and is reaching out specifically to alumni who may be in the job market to attend.
“Employers have asked us to invite our graduates back to campus for these events, because they are interested in them as well as our current students,” said Lauren Cole, coordinator for Career Services. “We want to encourage all current students and alumni to attend.”
The event, set for 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Trojan Arena rotunda and concourse, is not open to the public, and alumni will sign in using their former TROY email address or student ID number.
“Our employers will include specialty employers such as school systems for graduating teachers, business-focused employers, and those that employ international students and graduates,” Cole said.
Additionally, she said room was still available for employers who wanted to participate in the recruiting fair. Booths are $200 and include up to two employer representatives. To register as an employer, visit the Career Services registration page.
