A new Financial Aid webpage will help streamline the process for Troy University students.

The new landing page for Financial Aid features a prominent FASFA button and a Student Aid Mobile app to facilitate the FAFSA process, according to Dr. Jim Bookout, Senior Vice Chancellor for Finance and Business Affairs.

“The redesigned page is aimed at making it easier for students to navigate the Financial Aid process and get tips on money management, how to apply for aid, and how to work through the various processes needed to be successful,” he said.

It also puts helpful tools, such as cost of attendance and a net price calculator, in an easy-to-find format. The page also hosts “CashCourse,” a financial literacy app that provides students with financial budgeting tips, money guides and other tools.

Additional enhancements are also planned including a “chat bot,” an SMS Text app to contact Financial Aid directly, and instructional videos that walk students through various forms and processes.
