Troy University is celebrating jazz in the City of Dothan.
Frequency, the University’s vocal jazz ensemble, will join TROY’s Jazz Ensemble for two performances at the historic Dothan Opera House on Tuesday, March 20.
The shows start at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., and both are free and open to the public.
“Frequency and the Jazz Ensemble are two of the most high-profile and accomplished musical ensembles produced by the Troy University Department of Music,” said Dr. Dave Camwell, director of the Jazz Ensemble. “Each group performs a wide style of jazz-influenced music that is both exciting and accessible. Audiences can expect to hear inspiring music performed with expertise and style.”
The concerts are part of TROY Tuesdays, a series of Dothan Opera House performances by the TROY College of Communications and Fine Arts.
