The Troy University Alumni Association is in the midst of its annual “Membership in May” campaign with the theme #ReMEMBERTROY.

The campaign encourages TROY alumni, students and families and faculty and staff to remember their connection to Troy University by becoming a member of the Alumni Association during the month of May. Special events are scheduled throughout the month and prizes will be given away. Each person joining or renewing their membership during the month of May will receive a free gift and be entered into a drawing to win two Stadium Club seats and a parking pass for the 2018 TROY Homecoming game.

Annual membership dues are $35 with lifetime memberships available for $750 for a single membership or $1,250 for a couple membership. Payment plans are available for lifetime memberships.

Faculty and staff day will be held today with refreshments and hourly giveaways throughout the day. Faculty and staff joining or renewing their memberships will receive a free gift. A tailgate will be held, beginning at 4:30 p.m. today, prior to TROY’s baseball home game against Auburn at Riddle-Pace Field.

“Alumni Association membership dues help to provide programming for alumni throughout the year, including tailgates at sporting events and other special activities,” said Faith Ward, director of Alumni Affairs. “Even more importantly, funds collected from membership dues help to fund scholarships for deserving TROY students. Dues not only enable us to provide service to and activities for our members, but also represent an investment in our university that will ensure future generations of students will be able one day to look back fondly as they ‘Remember Troy.’”

Alumni Association members enjoy a number of benefits, including a 20 percent discount on all TROY merchandise at the Troy University Barnes & Noble Bookstore located on campus, free subscription to the Troy Today magazine which is published twice a year, invitations to special events, discounts on choice hotels and car rentals and free entry to tailgates with food and beverages.
