Le Dao Hanh Trang, a 2024 cum laude graduate from Troy University’s Bachelor of International Affiliated Business Administration program at the University of Economics & Business – Vietnam National University (VNU-UEB) in Hanoi, has used the skills the program gave her to pursue a career in a dynamic field.
A shopping concierge at the Changi International Airport in Singapore, Le Dao said the knowledge she gained in customer behavior, marketing and how to effectively communicate has been instrumental in her current role.
“It has enabled me to conduct in-depth analyses of customer purchasing behavior, provide personalized product recommendations and foster long-lasting customer relationships,” she said. “My teamwork and problem-solving abilities have also been crucial in collaborating with my colleagues to achieve our shared goals. I believe these valuable experiences will serve as a strong foundation for my continued career growth.”
Le Dao said she’s always had a goal to work in an international, multicultural environment, and believes the education she received from the TROY-VNU partnership has created a stepping stone for her personal development that has lasting value.

“I feel extremely fortunate to have experienced such a dynamic and friendly learning environment,” she said. “Our professors have always shown us exceptional care. They not only impart their expertise deeply, but also enthusiastically answer all of our questions. Our professors are always willing to take the time to explain things to us in detail and in a way that’s easy to understand. Thanks to them, we are able to grasp the knowledge and perform well on our tests.”
The Troy University BSBA Program at VNU-UEB campus is a regular training program in partnership between Troy University and VNU-UEB. It is a 100 percent English-taught program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business for training quality.
TROY BSBA students at VNU-UEB campus are awarded an American-standard bachelor’s degree by Troy University and recognized by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training.
“Through the TROY-VNU program, I was able to study under an internationally-recognized curriculum and earn a bachelor’s degree from Troy University in the United States. Learning in a professional environment with 100-percent English instruction provided me the opportunity to effectively improve my foreign language skills and confidently communicate in an international work setting,” Le Dao said. “Simultaneously, I enjoyed the full benefits of being a student at both TROY and VNU, which opened up numerous opportunities for personal development.”
To other students considering joining the BSBA program, Le Dao’s advice is to fully immerse yourself in a unique learning experience.
“Embrace the diverse cultural environment, actively participate in both academic and extracurricular activities, and build strong relationships with your peers and professors,” she said. “Remember, the key to success lies in dedication, hard work and a willingness to learn. By taking advantage of the opportunities presented, you can gain valuable knowledge, skills and experiences that will propel you towards a bright future.”
