Troy University’s International Arts Center (IAC) is set to host the sixth annual TROYAPALOOZA, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

The free event, which is open to anyone from the University, will take place on the Peace Dove Plaza, located behind the IAC, and in the amphitheater in Janice Hawkins Cultural Arts Park.

Carrie Jaxon, Director and Curator of the IAC and organizer of TROYAPALOOZA, said the event is a chance to spotlight student artists.

“One of my favorite things about TROYAPALOOZA is seeing our talented students shine, share their creativity, and show the campus community what makes the arts at TROY so special,” Jaxon said.

TROYAPALOOZA will include a concert at 7 p.m. by POPulus, TROY’s student-led music ensemble from the Music Industry Program. The event will also include t-shirt screen printing, a photo booth, interactive art, a Halloween costume contest with prizes and food, including hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, pizza, funnel cakes and fried Oreos.
