The College of Education is partnering with the Atlanta Support Center to host a week-long Virtual Graduate Fair June 8-12.

Troy University’s College of Education will host a Virtual Graduate Fair June 8-12, highlighting master’s, doctoral and specialist degree programs within the college.

The event, a partnership between the College of Education and the University’s Atlanta Support Center, will feature five webinars discussing graduate programs in elementary education, counseling and psychology, and the college’s new graduate programs — master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and the Ph.D. in Global Leadership. The webinars will be held at 11:30 a.m. CST/12:30 p.m. EST, and those interested in participating can register at www.troy.edu/virtualgradfair.

“The College of Education is pleased to partner with the Atlanta Support Center to showcase several graduate programs that have received regional and national recognition,” said Dr. Dionne Rosser-Mims, Dean of the College of Education. “As a College, we take great pride in how we design and deliver our programs with the goal of preparing highly qualified professionals who are difference makers. I invite prospective students to join these sessions to meet our faculty experts who they will find are both knowledgeable and personable.”

Next week’s event is the second virtual grad fair held by the University this spring. The previous event, held in May, focused on graduate programs in Criminal Justice, Management, MBA, and Strategic Communications, as well as a general graduate school session. The Virtual Graduate Fair also provides the opportunity for participants to learn about TROY’s innovative online format that allows students to have an experience comparable to in-class courses, said Staci Hutto, area coordinator for the Atlanta Support Center.

“We want to showcase the support and services that students receive throughout their tenure at TROY,” Hutto said. “Their dreams of obtaining a graduate degree can be made a reality and obtaining a degree from TROY will propel their career to the next level.”
