Several Troy University online programs have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report in its 2024 Best Online Degree Programs rankings that were released on Wednesday.

TROY’s online programs in criminal justice, business and nursing all were recognized among the nation’s best in the rankings.

U.S. News assessed schools based on a variety of objective factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, services and technologies. Designed for individuals looking to complete or further their education, this year’s edition evaluates online programs at more than 1,750 colleges and universities. While the methodologies are different for each discipline, they all incorporate metrics specific to online learning. The rankings only include degree-granting programs that are offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions.

TROY’s undergraduate online criminal justice program ranked 33rd overall and as the 11th best criminal justice program for veterans. The University’s online graduate nursing programs ranked 49th.

In business, TROY’s undergraduate online program ranked 84th and its graduate non-MBA business degree program ranked as the 34th best for veterans. TROY’s online MBA program ranked 129th overall and as the 79th best online MBA program for veterans.

Overall, TROY’s undergraduate online programs ranked 115th in the country, according to the rankings.

The rankings are the latest national recognition achieved by Troy University. Other recent rankings received by the University include U.S. News and World Report Best Regional Universities South, The Princeton Review’s Best of the Southeast, Money’s Best Colleges, G.I. Jobs magazine’s Military Friendly Schools, Military Times’ Best for Vets, and Abound’s Top 100 Online Colleges nationally, Best Colleges for Adults, and Best Colleges for Military and Veterans.
