Madilyn Webb and Derrick Nobles have been named Troy University’s 2024 Homecoming Queen and King.
A native of Enterprise, Alabama, Webb was escorted by her mother Missy Daughtry and was sponsored by Kappa Delta. She is a senior biomedical sciences major.
“I’m so honored. I can’t believe that among all these amazing women that the study body selected me,” she said. “Every single person on this Homecoming Court is wonderful and represents TROY so well, so I’m really grateful and really honored.
Nobles, a native of Mobile, Alabama, was escorted by his mother LaQuita Hall and was sponsored by Kappa Delta. He is a senior accounting major.
“This is such a huge honor. I never pictured myself running for Homecoming King, but being able to represent TROY and the student body means so much to me,” he said. “I want to thank everyone for the support. Go Trojans!”
TROY Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Governor Kay Ivey, Student Government Association President Betsy Bennett and 2023 Homecoming Queen and King Jane Vickers and Myles Camel awarded the pair. Webb was crowned and Nobles was presented with a TROY sword at halftime of the Trojans’ football game against Coastal Carolina.
