Troy University is extending its commitment to supporting military service members with the Trojan Book Bag, a program designed to simplify access to required course materials while reducing costs. This initiative, launched with the 2024 Fall Semester and Term 1, reflects Troy’s dedication to making education more accessible and convenient for those actively serving in the military.
“The Trojan Book Bag program is an incredible opportunity for our actively serving military members,” said Scot Brumbeole, Director of Military and Veterans Affairs.
These students face unique challenges when pursuing higher education, often balancing service commitments and academic responsibilities. The Trojan Book Bag Program ensures that all members have all required materials in hand before the first day of class.
Brumbeole continues, “With the cost covered by the Military and Family Scholarship, this program ensures that our military students have access to all their course materials without any added financial burden. It’s one more way Troy University is making higher education more accessible and supporting those who serve our country.”
