A journey of 130 miles started with the first steps this morning at the Troy Campus.

More than 30 members of Troy University’s Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity set off Friday on a six-day hike to Panama City Beach for the organization’s annual “Walk Hard” fundraiser, which supports wounded military veterans.

The team left the Troy Campus with a crowd of supporters on hand to wish them well, including Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr.
