The Alabama State Board of Veterans Affairs has named its newest veterans home in memory of Troy alumnus and Medal of Honor recipient Command Sgt. Maj. Bennie Adkins. (TROY photo)
 

The memory of TROY alumnus and Medal of Honor recipient Bennie Adkins is being honored by the Alabama State Board of Veterans Affairs.
