Troy University’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee is working make sure needy families can eat a Thanksgiving dinner.

SAAC is collecting canned goods to donate to Troy area food banks to try help families that may have been affected by COVID-19 this year.

The groups saw that many more families than usual have been affected financially this year due to COVID and felt that there was something that they could do to help out.

“That’s really the key before we even go home for Thanksgiving break,” said Student Athlete Advisory Committee President Alexis Garrett.  “We want their Thanksgiving to be as normal as possible”
