Troy Athletics announces clear bag policy

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics will implement a clear bag policy beginning with the 2026-27 athletic season for all ticketed athletic events on campus in an effort to enhance safety and security features, Troy Athletics announced Tuesday.

The policy, which takes effect Aug. 1, 2026, covers all ticketed athletic events at Veterans Memorial Stadium, Trojan Arena and Riddle-Pace Field. The policy is not limited to these facilities but will be mandated for all Troy Athletics events held in those venues.

Fans who renew or purchase their 2026 Troy Football season tickets by the May 15 priority renewal deadline will receive a free Troy-branded clear bag, courtesy of Guardian Credit Union. Bags will not be mailed to qualifying ticket holders; pick-up details will be announced when available.
