Troy University is making plans for future distribution of COVID-19 vaccine.

Troy University says it is making plans now for how it will distribute a COVID-19 vaccine when the time comes.

Senior Vice Chancellor Lance Tatum says it could be months before does make it to the Troy Campus but the school is working to finalize a distribution plans for when it becomes available for TROY.

Tatum says the university will prioritize those who are most at risk.

“We’re not in favor of doing a first come first served type of distribution. We think that we need to be more deliberate,” says Tatum. ” So right now we are creating a plan that would really mirror what individuals are seeing nationally or at the state level. Those with the highest risk, those with the highest exposure potential will be early vaccinated individuals.”
