The University Activities Council tests student knowledge for fun and prizes.

One of the main parts of attending college is learning things but you don’t always get to show off what you know in a public setting the University Activities Council changed that with a trivia night in Patterson Hall.

Students competed for prizes by going head to head in a Kahoot quiz competition.

Kahoot is a game-based learning platform, used as educational technology in schools and other educational institutions but the UAC decided to use it for some fun for one of their traditional Wednesday night student activities.

“What we do is we put on events that are free to all students and we just want to put on events like Kahoot just to give students a chance to come together especially in times like this just to come together have a fun game night,” says Assistant Activities Coordinator Lexus Oats. “Also, we have offered up some prizes. There’s three really awesome prizes. We always try to do prizes for these kind of events as like an incentive for students to come out have fun.”
