The Trojan men’s basketball team saw its four game win streak snapped on Saturday in Trojan Arena.
Despite a strong outing from freshman Duke Miles and a double-double from Zay Williams TROY saw its four-game overall winning streak and seven-game home winning streak snapped after 79-64 loss to the Eagles.
Zay Williams, who reached the 500-point plateau for the season, had 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Duke Miles led the Trojans in scoring with 21 points and added 5 rebounds.
“We committed way too many unforced turnovers and i thought that really was was the difference in the game,” says Head Coach Scott Cross. ” It led to a lot of easy buckets. I didn’t think we came out with the same toughness mentality that we had in the first game.”
